Living Well Challenge

So you want to live well? Join the online UADA Living Well Challenge.

Registration will be open from January 31st - February 13th.

The Spring 2022 Session will begin on February 14th.

Here’s how it works:

The challenge is 8 weeks. Each day, you’ll earn points for completing 5 daily habits.

  • Prep a Healthy Meal/Meals at Home
  • Eat 5 Cups of Fruits and Vegetables a Day
  • Get 7-8 Hours of Sleep Each Night
  • Be Physically active at least 30 Minutes a Day
  • Eliminate Sugar Sweetened Drinks

How you’ll track your points:

Points will be recorded on the Living Well Challenge website. Each week you’ll log into your Daily Health Habits Chart online. For each healthy choice you make, you get one point. There will also be opportunities for extra bonus points.

At the end of the 8 week challenge, there will be two winners – the person who has earned the most points, and the one who lost the largest percentage of their starting weight. Winners will receive awards! There will also be other awards awarded weekly based on participation in the UAEX Living Well Challenge Facebook Group to keep you on task and motivated!

How much will it cost?

The cost for the challenge is $10.

What will you be doing during the Challenge?

You’ll meet up with friends and like-minded supporters on the Facebook group while earning points for your healthy choices. We will help with weekly blog posts, social media posts and encouragement, and great information on this website.
